wonderful and I'm always in search of fellow teacher taking this approach. I first started it as a literacy approach (circa 2004) but now use it for ESL/EFL. See thousands that teachers have made on EFL Classroom 2.o http://eflclassroom.com either in the karaoke group or the karaoke page under TEACH.
I'll take a look at your subtitling, probably much better than my own! Could you also post a sample up on EFL Classroom 2.0 in the videos? Original is preferred but then link in the description to youtube (youtube destroys the quality with their compression).
Cheers,
David
Hi David --I'm a fan of SLS/Karafun as a literacy activity/tool. Check out my Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/zwgm or Same-Language Subtitling sls4reading.com on Facebook.

Appreciate the thumbs up and positive energy. Keeps me going (right now in Philly / heading to Boston and doing IT stuff for teachers).
Lots more karaoke (not true but for lang. learning) on EFL Classroom 2.0. Also, luv Bill Cosby - have you seen this commencement speech of his from a year or so ago? http://eflclassroom.ning.com/video/bill-cosbys-life-lesson
d. Let's get something n here from ziggy marley ("family time song" - made it 2 the white house to sing/educate) also don't forget the great educator Billy Cosby-- if your not familiar w/ him just look at "fat albert and the boys" inspired by Dr. Bill Cosby...
